Sadly, they also have millions of woefully misinformed listeners to Mush et al, who rabidly believe this shit.

In any event, it was the Charlottesville City Council's business to deal with their statue as they chose. It's no business of mine, nor of a Neo-Nazi from Maumee, Ohio.
I think memorials for a couple hundred thousand young men killed in battle is appropriate.

Statues to the anonymous soldiers who died for the Confederacy are scattered everywhere throughout the South and haven't been the subject of such removal controversies. The issue is Confederate leaders and generals (and their ideologies) that have been deified and whose statues were erected as an overt display of racism in the Jim Crow and civil rights era South (same goes for the Confederate battle flag, BTW). The anonymous soldier statues were, by and large, erected very soon after the Civil War to honor the memory of the dead, not their (lost) cause. It's OK in Germany to have memorials to its war dead (and such memorials commemorate both war victims and soldiers (also generally viewed as victims of Nazi ideology)). What's not OK is to have memorials to Hitler or Nazi ideology.

Regardless, what you think is appropriate in Charlottesville is irrelevant if you don't live in Charlottesville. Their City Council chose their course of action through a democratic process. If your town wants to keep a Nathan Bedford Forrest (the KKK founder) in the town square, fine (as Tennessee does in its state capitol in Nashville). If Charlottesville wants to remove one of RE Lee, also fine. It's none of your business.

Apparently David Duke is dumb enough to think Der Trumster's statement today was sincere. Had a meltdown over it.

Blame the victim time! They were all bad people who make disruption, so they deserved it of course.

He's basically claiming that Trump was bullied by the media and RINO's to give an insincere apology. It's hard to argue with his assessment.

The battlefields are the appropriate place.

My advisers, and by the way, I have the best advisers, some people say the best advisers in the history of our country, this country that we love. We all love it. Right? So my advisers just told me that racism is bad. Did you know that? A lot of people didn't know that. It has been bad for many years. And just today I found out that I condemn racism. A hundred percent, maybe a thousand percent. In fact, nobody condemns it more percent than me. Believe me.

This is the third time you've whined about this happening in Charlottesville, home of Jefferson's university and just a hop, skip and jump away from Montecello the home of Tom and his slaves. What happened in Charlottesville began with the compromises made with the planters to create a viable nation.
