Nah, outside of his medical accomplishments, he's just plain stupid when it comes to politics and public policy. I suppose that's what endears him to 'Baggers.

And then there's the story about Carson spotting what he thought was a new tumor inside the skull of a patient he'd operated on several times in the past. When he went in to do an exploratory, he didn't find a tumor but he did discover a surgical sponge he'd left in her head the last time.

Look, the ass clowns who think Carson is qualified for the presidency by virtue of his supposed brilliance as a neuosurgeon are immune to arguments explaining why the one isn't a qualification for the other.

I'm sure that Smoothie thinks Reagan was a brilliant president but does he think that means he would have been a great brain surgeon.

Anyway, maybe if it's shown that Carson's brilliance was in self-promotion but that he was a rather ordinary surgeon, they might have a more reasoned view of his qualifications for the White House.
