It isn't the same all over the world. The graph clearly shows that some countries do a lot better than others. For instance, the Czech Republic, a former USSR satellite country, has a childhood poverty rate exactly half that of the UK.

That is not wht I saw on the first chart, were there more? What interested me was the direction that was being taken and I was happy to see that many countries were reducing the rate. The poor Greeks, guess they can thank Angela for that.
