2014 MOSES Conference Keynote: Mark Shepard

Mark Shepard is someone who I've followed for a long time. The venue in this video is organic farming, but Mark is best known for his work in Permaculture. In this video, he covers agroforestry, carbon, politics, profits, & so much more. Our politics are exactly the same when it comes to food & the environment. This guy is a proven performer, not some egghead.

Sustainable farming and commerce in general is the sensible course, but our traditional pyramid economy won't accommodate it or a concurrent stable population, never mind internal and external greed and other antithetical social factors. Everyone should be able to make a living but nobody is entitled to make a 'killing' at the expense of others.
Individuals could do well with some luck if they make sensible timely choices.
