Non-violence leads to the highest ethics

"Non-violence leads to the highest ethics, which is the goal of all evolution. Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are still savages. Until we stop harming all other living animals we are savages." Thomas Edison

It's a nice sentiment from Edison. I don't think all that much of Edison however. He was a pal of robber barons, J.P. Morgan in particular, and author of vicious propaganda campaigns designed to destroy Nikola Tesla.

I have little respect for Edison's personal views. This is on the mark however.
