I watched the BBC Neil Young documentary "Don't Be Denied" again last night. And as I viewed this section it struck me...whoa...they're the same guy, with the same narcissistic wound. They don't take rejection well. It's all about the rejection.

So...the same guy except for one important feature. Donald was born into money. He doesn't have to resort to murder to extract his revenge on society for the rejection he can't tolerate. Donald has been getting his emotional relief from the rejection his whole life financially...now he has the additional benefit of being able to do it governmentally. (With women and Donald it's a long history of public humiliation of women who reject him.) Charlie got his relief with knives and guns and getting others to do the murders. Donald now has the entire Republican Party there...all of them...more than willing to do his dirty work. When you look at Donald, just imagine President Charlie Manson.

It's really fucking sick.

Excellent analysis of the linguistic similarities.

Well...the thing for me, from a purely clinical perspective is not as much how they think and speak the same but how very much they feel the same. How reactive they are to rejection and how they both act out maliciously, with hostility, and in massive malignant narcissism to the rejection.

Of all the criteria for diagnosing narcissistic personality...the most telling is the need for excessive admiration and the reactivity to rejection. It's what makes them dangerous.
