Already paid a fine IIRC over it's dealing with Russia money.

I think a subpoena from the US Justice Department will mean a lot more than a request from a leaky Congressional fishing expedition.

Just how much pressure will Trump's Justice Department wield in order to facilitate the execution of the subpoena?

I would like to think that German regulators would force compliance.

Don't get me wrong, I want the information to be forthcoming. Just believe Trump will stop at nothing to hide squelch stop then make go away this whole issue. ASAP!

He and his supporters have no shame, feel above the law.

If the German authorities exert pressure on Duetsche Bank, little Trump or executive branch can do. Merkel is probably licking her chops at an opportunity to trip Trump up. Duetsche bank would be best served by coming clean, I will bet on it. Trump has no friends, just co-conspirators.

“DB takes its legal obligations seriously and remains committed to cooperating with authorized investigations into this matter.”

http://www.newsweek.com/trump-muelle...ubpoena-736295

“Deutsche Bank is synonymous with Russian money laundering,” Luke Harding, author of Collusion, a book on the Trump-Russia connections, said in an interview with Newsweek Tuesday...

The bank’s $300 million loan to Trump, after the oft-bankrupt magnate fell behind on a separate loan from the German bank, was highly unusual according to banking experts, and likely raises questions for Mueller’s investigators about who or what was backing the additional funds.

Flynn told former business associate that Russia sanctions would be ‘ripped up,’ according to congressional witness
Quote:
As President Trump delivered his inaugural address on the steps of the U.S. Capitol in January , his new national security adviser, Michael Flynn, sent a text to a former business associate telling him that a plan to build nuclear power plants in the Middle East in partnership with Russian interests was “good to go,” according to a witness who spoke with congressional investigators.
Of course, if this is left with the House Intelligence Committee, this will not go anywhere. But I am sure that Mueller will get to the bottom of this since Flynn has flipped. This sounds a lot more serious than it seems now.
