Besides that. It is just not adding up and especially with the constant attacks on Mueller which leads me to believe that there is something unusual here. Watergate was simple in comparison to understand.

Long drawn out process, lots of moving parts, and a continuing patten of malfeasance--best comparisons I can think of are the history of Hitler's rise to power, and the plot of 'The Sopranos.'

Thanks for the article and this compelling picture. Three people with class that command a lot of respect. And then there is the current POTUS who is lamenting that he cannot meddle with the Justice Department including the FBI.

This picture should give MAGA Trump nightmares.

"WASHINGTON — Carter Page, a foreign policy adviser to the Trump presidential campaign, met Russian government officials during a July 2016 trip he took to Moscow, according to testimony he gave on Thursday to the House Intelligence Committee.
Shortly after the trip, Mr. Page sent an email to at least one Trump campaign aide describing insights he had after conversations with government officials, legislators and business executives during his time in Moscow, according to one person familiar with the contents of the message. The email was read aloud during the closed-door testimony.
The new details of the trip present a different picture than the account Mr. Page has given during numerous appearances in the news media in recent months and are yet another example of a Trump adviser meeting with Russians officials during the 2016 campaign. In multiple interviews with The New York Times, he had either denied meeting with any Russian government officials during the July 2016 visit or sidestepped the question, saying he met with “mostly scholars.”
Mr. Page confirmed the meetings in an interview on Friday evening, but played down their significance.
“I had a very brief hello to a couple of people. That was it,” he said. He said one of the people he met was a “senior person,” but would not confirm the person’s identity." WP

Drip, drip, drip...

Leave it to Trump to be too arrogant and stupid to understand that he can't be allowed to control organizations that may have to investigate and prosecute..............HIM.

Trump trades Comey for Mueller, puts Sessions on the injured reserve and proceeds to insult the refree's. Brilliant strategy indeed. No wonder NFL did not want him as an owner.

From another thread. Just as appropriate here.

The late William T. Kelley, who taught Trump at the University of Pennsylvania, said, “Donald Trump was the dumbest goddamn student I ever had.” Tony Schwartz, the ghostwriter of “The Art of the Deal,” says Trump had “a stunning level of superficial knowledge and plain ignorance.”

Sounds like his voter base.
