Victorious Xenophobia in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern elected a new state parliament today.
SPD: ca. 30% (left) AFD: ca. 21% CDU: ca. 19 % (Merkel Party) This is shocking. The ultra right party AFD succeeded in a way that is scary. How many morons are living up there? The most interesting thing is that this federal state got only a small number of refugees since Merkels "Wir schaffen das" (We'll make it) statement one year ago. But the election manifesto of the AFD consited only of the xenophobia agitation - sic transit gloria Germania. Fortunately SPD and CDU are capable of providing the new government.
