Although not an Apple user, I have been well aware of Job's role as an innovator. The WaPo had an interesting take on his role as a social innovator. It will indeed be interesting to see what the view of his legacy is when we are another ten years down the road (eons in geekdom).

Don't fret. We geeks like the term now. I was having a difficult time finding my preferred high quality vinyl pocket protector. I finally found them at a small independent stationary store and bought all they had. The new model is too thin and the seams always split. I just load them and toss them in my briefcase and don't actually use them in my shirt pocket. I do have a leather pen holder that I sometimes wear on my belt. It is usually loaded with a Mont Blanc Diplomat, an 0.7mm Mont Blanc Mechanical pencil, and a pen type Steadtler eraser. It is very geeky and somewhat pretentious, but I like the convenience. I like pens and pencils.
