One year ago today
we were laying the boy to rest. Sorry I haven't been around much the last year. Been a rough year for Denise and I. We lost Michael last July, my mom last October, and Denise's younger brother and mom six days apart in May.
Justice is being slow due to the fact that the kid who stabbed Michael was a minor at the time and has dual citizenship and fled to Mexico. I never realized how long and arduous the process was of getting warrants for extradition. On the lighter side, supposedly they know where he is and have an eye on him if and when the paperwork ever gets signed off on. Just didn't want you guys thinking that you had been able to run me off.

D-Ray definitely stated it right, please find peace and try to release the pain you're feeling. Sometimes dealing with all the legalities can hinder this as we get caught up in the whirlwind of it.
We tend to want justice, but man as time goes by and to actually get into the courts it sucks big time. It will need all your strength to follow this through for your son and the rest of your family so take care of yourself. Prayers are sent as I listen to the Pope message of Love & Families
