And when I lived in Indiana it was "Hoosier Hospitality!"
In fairness, once you got up a little south of Indianapolis it was generally much better. More typically midwestern in feel.
Then they changed the motto to "Amber Waves of Grain." Which I never understood. When I think of "amber waves of grain," I think of wheat fields, not cornfields. I never saw any wheat in Indiana. Lot's of corn, no wheat.
