But everybody's got a gun, and threatening to shoot one another is always good for a laugh, so long as everybody's smiling.

Yes it is truly a different culture. Not better nor worse than any other, just different.

Of course I know many of the, "my way is the *right* way" posters here will not agree.

Chas, I grew up in Brown County Ohio. We're pretty hillbilly there too. I'm not quite sure I agree. But I have a suggestion and one that I can make from personal experience- move. There's a great world out there. One where threatening to shoot someone isn't a greeting.

I'm not so sure that threats of a committing a felony on someone are as endearing as you think. What do you say when you meet an attractive woman?
