Reminiscent of Obama/Kerry
desperation for a deal with Iran, that no one ultimately signed off on, the Senate wouldn't ratify and the American people were against.
However, unlike the Obama/Kerry, Trump has publicly said that if the talks go nowhere - and when dealing with Kim reaching any sort of productive agreement, much less a productive conversation is anything but certain - it's no big deal.
This whole thing could amount to absolutely nothing, or it could be Trump's "Nixon goes to China" moment.
