Indeed they do and I pray that their efforts bear fruit.
In all honesty, my biggest fear is that America will try to sabotage the agreement by whispering in Poroshenko's ear that "We can get you a better deal." I see McCain, Graham and Nuland as the likely provocateurs here but Obama himself may want to do this as well.
For the American leadership, this agreement will be seen as a threat to their pre-eminence in NATO, maybe even a sign that NATO is on the verge of dissolution, that Europe will go its own way from now on. America won't stand for this, IMO. Neither will the global MIC.
