You know, Trump's 'we have the tough guys' rhetoric is really a threat to the lives of his critics. Any right winger would tell you that a threat like that justifies any level of counterforce necessary, if it comes from brown foreigners. But they wouldn't apply such standards to him, of course.
It may be the most undemocratic, un-American thing he's said yet. Another substantial step toward domestic instability and violence has been taken. The comment is itself cause to impeach him as fast as possible, in my opinion.
No excuses from the right can possibly defend this.
