On the way home from the Naval Hospital today I was thinking that these last few years with Obama have been pretty good. I filled up my tank with $20!!! at the gas station on base at Miramar $2.29 a gallon...I cannot remember when it was so low it has to be the 90s. Anyway things are going well...

Unemployment is down.
Gas prices are down.
More people have health insurance.

ISIS sucks but that was not Obama's fault and I am glad we do not have troops on the ground there. So his red line was a bit dodgy it is still better than a whole scale invasion.

I think Kansas will just have to get a good governor like Jerry Brown and then they can clean up the mess. It took us about 15 years but it is working. I do worry about red states lagging behind the more progressive states. California has its problems but at least we know we have them. I think the real sad thing is the failure to expand medicare in the red states. And the Supreme Court may deep six that all together.

I had a feeling driving in Socal today that it was like the 90s under Clinton again. I think all the hate about Obama is just sour grapes and that many American will miss him in 2017. Even some of those baggers getting their Obamacare lol.

If I was Obama I would trade Keystone for an amendment to the ACA to thwart the King-Burrell Supreme Court case.
