A Democrat is never going to win in Alabama so they might as well elect Moore and pay for their choice in 2020, like the GOP is paying for getting behind Trump after Billy Bush recording leaked.
Besides with Bannon openly gunning for McConnell, mainstream GOP will not be backing Moore nor do they need to for Moore to win.
