I don't dispute, one way or the other, the relative merits of 60 vs. 75 ppb of ozone. It seems that all Obama did was to curtail rulemaking until 2013, at which time it will have to go through the full blown rulemaking process. That's a good thing IMHO (as compared to another rule change between now and then).

And as Churchill pointed out, nations do not have "friends", they have common interests.

Perhaps so (though I'd say Israel and England probably qualify as friends). However, it's tough to get folks to recognize common interests using "with us or against us" cowboy talk.
