This "right" without a purpose has become a deadly burden on it's subjects.
The acceptable impractical solution requires a time machine and two trips to the past.
The first to 1865 to repeal the second amendment in light of the Southern rebellion, and to 1934 to include the control of semi-automatic weapons with automatic weapons in the NFA act.
Responsible trustworthy citizens would still legally own and use permitted firearms for permitted purposes.
The practical present solution, given the disinformation and cash driven politics eludes me.
