True, but I can do all that stuff so, given enough hours in a day, I could save myself a shitload of money. Until I get too old to do it.
Also, the climate out here is so benign, never too hot, never too cold, never to damp, never too dry, that things just last longer. Maintenance concerns like roofs and paint jobs aren't as big a deal here.
We do have earthquakes though.
