It's always tempting to see this as a clever distraction, but I don't think so. Seems to me Trump is losing what control he had, what ability he had to discern what is reliable and real from what just punches his bigot buttons.
If he had enough judgement and competence to empty the oval office wastebasket, he'd know you can't believe shite like that from Britain First. It's too soon to have the full story, but this report in the Mirror suggests what we'll learn when the videos are investigated:
