I lived a bit further south, in Takoma Park, Maryland right outside of D.C. during those crazy years. The Airplane did a free concert on the Mall in '72, IIRC. Sans Grace who was sick that day, so it was more like a twofer. Airplane and Hot Tuna.
I just recued it up!
BTW, Peter gets a mention in the liner notes.
