Nah we admins here get the same crappy privileges Grumpy doles out to everyone
Instead of using 'manage attachments', click on the little picture of a mountain just above the dialogue box you're typing into, next to the word balloon:
Then paste the url of the pic you'd like to display and click OK. It also don't take server space. If the source goes bad it comes up as a red x though.
