Well Noon, believe it or not, I do check stuff out. Glenn Beck definitely gives me the ideas, but his research ALLWAYS passes the acid test. He has a red phone on his set for the sole purpose of calling BS on any of his facts by the white house gal that is in charge of watching FOX (her name escapes me at the moment). He sent her the number via certified mail and her secretary confirmed that she received it. The phone has yet to ring. Everything he has reported on the czars, affiliations, and bills presently under consideration and construction is TRUE. I think he was called out one time since I've been watching him, and he lead the next days program with a retraction. I bet he mentioned the mistake 20 times in that one program. He is not about spreading lies, and if he is, I challenge you or anyone else to show one. I've fought with being a racist my whole life. It goes way back in my family roots on my Dad's side. The Grand Dragon in the movie Mississippi Burning was a relative, and has the same last name as I do. It was a weird time and place where I was raised. Any interaction with folks of color was forced. I can remember several whoopins I got for being caught playing with black kids when I was very young, and my Dad told stories of the same from his childhood. Nobody seems to give this country any credit for the progress we have made in this area, but instead chooses to run her down for not doing enough. Think of it like this; "back when" a white man had preferential treatment when it came to getting a job in my union. People saw that as wrong, largely in part to marches, and speeches by men like Dr. King. King is considered a hero in this country my most folks black or white. Now, fast forward to today; a black man gets preferential treatment when it comes to getting a job in my union. It specifically asks for blacks, women, and Hispanics in the ads it runs for apprentices. What would the Nation think about a white man organizing marches and speeches to get white men on the same playing field. He would undoubtedly be labelled a racist and a nut job. Why is that?
