Comparing a midwest city in winter to a subtropical city in winter makes sense? And using data from a single day?

Climate inequality does not describe the intent of climate and weather (which have none, obviously), but rather the disparate impacts of climate and weather. But i think you knew that and chose to pretend otherwise for the sake of....hell I really don't know. Or care.
