A Russian Orthodox priest tries to serve his flock despite the twin evil of Hitler and Stalin.
Director Vladimir Khotinenko takes his cue from Putin and Medvedev, whom he observe kissing the ring of the head of the church, and undertakes a favorable revision of the church's WW11 deeds.
