Take the Bush Tax cuts.
Almost everybody got something.
The rich got huge cuts and the poor and middle classes got thrown a few crumbs. Remember that $600 bucks?
In exchange for that $600, we got huge federal deficits and gave the right the excuse they have been wanting to come after our Social Security, Medicare, and what little safety net we have left. That $600 tax cut that us average schmucks got will end up costing us tens of thousands.
