You're right, but it was a revolt by the duped, a revolt in favor of more oppression. The results delivered by Trump are piles of more meaningless, useless-to-them money for the rich, and more and more jobs that pay under $15 an hour for everyone else. Meanwhile, accelerating environmental destruction will soon enough make everyone really poor, or dead.
