J, here is the DA's case, There are multiple additional points made in the trial, including the fact that one bullet casing was found inside the car, which would be consistent with four shots fired from outside the car, and one fired from inside the car.

there also is a great amount of detail about how the officer searched for the revolver, and how he climbed OVER the body and sat on the passenger side seat while searching for said revolver, etc. It is also interesting that the squad car camera was turned off once the suspect was killed, and the officer's body position as he rummaged through his duty bag for the clot kit.

Finally, the DNA on the revolver screw was blood DNA of the officer, while I was informed it was blood DNA on the screwhead, and non-blood DNA on the underside.

Also, the videos were leaked to the newspaper some time after the settlement was paid, and before the officer was indicted. The original event went down in 2011, so this whole trial would never had happened if the leak did not occur.
