True. Two different modus operundi, but still a game of manipulation nonetheless.
Not necessarily competing to beat each other within a common industry, but competing to see who can influence politics to the greatest degree, each in his own way. And finding ways to make money off of it all the while. I.e.--If you can influence public policy, through populism (The media.) or financial pressures (The market.) then lay your money against the potential outcomes, one could become incredibly wealthy, no?
