Hello from bhunter

Hello Folks,

I recently arrived from AK. I came over here after watching several discussions on AK were closed due to politics. Politically I consider myself a libertarian; however, I've been referred to as being everything from politcally to the right of Attila to politically to the left of Che... "Tin Horn Dictatorial" was a former correspondent's words.

My background is in Economics, Political Economy, Mathematics and the Physical Sciences.

Some Positions:

I strongly support the Austrian school of economics.

I think the Federal government ought be limited to Defense and ought not tinker with social engineering.

I'm technically proficient but still write with a fountain pen, read actual books, enjoy archaic writing styles, and believe history is an important area of study.

I'm also a skeptic of most novel political proposals and pseudoscience.

Best Regards,
Brent

I'm a smartass. Initially you will hate me.

Now, if you love Austrian economics so much you are more than welcome to move there.

Here's a map; http://maps.google.com/

Apparently Google requires more specifics, but this should get you started. Looks like you're in for a bit of swimming.

OMG, another Luddite von Sissy fan. You realize, of course, that Ludvig laid out his complete economic theory on the back of a cocktail napkin...to the grunts of delight from the bucktoothed neocons present at the time.

Please allow another Luddite to welcome you to the Koz.

Chas
