Depends on a few things.
Some EL84's can handle that, the Sovtek EL84M is one I believe, while
others can't, then not only the voltage but the current as well will be a
factor in wether the tube will take it or not.
Worse case scenario is the tube blows up an takes an output tranny in
the process along with it, hopefully just the fuse blows if the tube goes. |
