Haven't been involved for several years, which allows me a certain perspective. The reason for my absence is because I found this forum to be toxic. The reason for my return is because I'm drunker than Cooter Brown...and I'm listening to Christmas music.

It appears to me that not much has changed, pretty much the same people, with the same viewpoints, other than Tom Joad...who has apparently positioned himself even further right than my former self. I always thought that he hated my guts...perhaps we were too much alike.

To make things short...the best of wishes for everyone. There are more important things than politics.

I'm not here as much either. At some point, I realized how angry and pathetic I had become.

Political Chat is toxic for sure, but participating in this community - even when my skills are pretty limited - helps me a bit not to get a political intoxication. There are of course more important things than politics, and the most important thing of them is music.
