Read the section about the maximum daily limit of $25 at the ATM which makes it really hard for those on assistance.

Rove Confronted By Iraqi War Veteran

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/0...n_7000158.html

Rove then puts all the blame for ISIS on Obama. America created the vacuum in northern Iraq by removing Hussein, under the direction of the Bush Administration. Rove is one of those types who love war as long as he does not go himself. There is an old video of him at Stanford where he supports the war in Vietnam....but he did not go himself.

I think the GOP cannot stand the idea that Obama might be able to get a deal in Iraq without any bloodshed. Of course if this was a Republican President with the same deal everyone would be doing high-fives on Capitol Hill.

Only the Republican Party would have anything to do with Rove, nothing, absolutely nothing, is below him.

That's it! Punish the poor!

What makes these people so mean-spirited?

I've never seen an ATM that gave out anything other than $20 bills.

So I guess in reality the limit is $20.

Back before I came to California (1988) the ATMs in Ohio did...I remember being able to get $5....Cali was the first place I noticed that ATMs only gave out $20. Maybe the rest of America is the same now.

All the ones I've used give out $20's only.

Under the new rule, a three-person family receiving the maximum benefit would have to go to the ATM more than a dozen times to get the full benefit, which would be whittled away by an 85 cent fee for each withdrawal after the first one. And the local cruise liner ATM will no longer be an option.
There's another way that really poor people get ripped off.

Fees.

85 cents a pop, for every $25 buck transaction?

That's 3.4%.

Somebody's making money off of that.

And I wouldn't be surprised if those same somebody's lobbied for this legislation.

Yes, Rob, but they don't even bother with the first part any more. They've dropped the pretense of generosity in favor of the pretense of fiscal responsibility.
