Back in my twenties, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to get along with everyone. But, if I were forced to deal with someone who desired that there was going to be an asshole, and someone was gonna be hiding from him...then I was gonna be the asshole, and the other SOB was gonna hide from me.

I can be a hellacious good asshole, once I put my mind to it. Even skinned a couple of people up a little (thieves), just to show them that this asshole game doesn't work very well on me. Easier pickins' out there, so go somewhere else.

Considering that I've only showed my cards a couple of times in 35 yrs says a lot about the quality of most folks.

But I fear if I could lay my hands on the salesmen who call up at suppertime, or wake me up form a nap, I'd be carrying my asshole card in a quick draw holster.
