The Stench of John Roberts Supreme Court

Scandals keep coming from the John Roberts Supreme Court. Please use this thread to track them regardless of the political leaning of the justice involved in the scandal.

Alito and Thomas should resign in shame for all the so called 'gifts' they've taken over the years.

What can wrong giving one a job for life?

Now it appears effectively able to break laws with impunity because they are the ones who decide what is legal.

Or think and say so.....

I believe that Thomas is worst of the lot and the most corrupt.
If his wife is a political activist and actively engaged in subversive activities, he should have recused himself from every Trump related case, but he didn't and this makes him corrupt.

The Supreme Court should be subject to the same code of ethics that all other federal judges must abide by.

What Justice Alito thinks of being subject to a code of ethics:

Stiehm: The Roberts court — Something rotten under the robes

Quote:

Picture us as peasants in medieval Europe again. We have no human rights, a concept far in the future. That’s how the Supreme Court likes it.

Six Catholics powerfully rule the land now, wielding religious beliefs like a weapon. They are known as “justices.” They are anything but, yet nobody can touch them.

They literally have the last word on running millions of lives, with no milk of human kindness. Their bitter arrogance is breathtaking.

Roberts is the weakest, most impotent Chief Justice in my lifetime.

And one of the reasons the Repubs selected Roberts was his age, assuring him of long tenure as head of the SCOTUS.

A thinktank linked to two billionaires who provided lavish travel gifts to conservative supreme court justices is behind a campaign to get the SCOTUS to take on a case that could protect them and other billionaires from a possible future wealth tax.
