$15 Minimum Wage Strike Today

We won't be shopping today.

Sidenote - Here's a bank I could do business with. I hope they expand further into my area. https://www.amalgamatedbank.com/arti...on-pay-15-hour

This is one point I don't agree with Bernie on.

If it was up to me I'd go with $8 bucks an hour in 2015 money.

$15 bucks may be appropriate in high cost of living places like New Your, or Los Angeles, but what about Devil's Asshole, Alabama? Or Buttfuck Tennessee?

But hey, If Bernie can get the $15 through congress, I'll live with it.

But whatever rate is decided on, I want to see it indexed it to inflation. Once you tie it to inflation you take the politics out of it. It never has to be a political issue again. It just get raised automatically with inflation. Or lowered automatically if there is deflation. No fuss, no bother.
