The House Speakership Debacle
 

Scalise, with the most votes in the House GOP caucus, bails leaving Gym Jordan, the lunatic sexual assault enabler leading a MAGA charge for the speakership. What a fucking clown show. They could manage a two car funeral.

Trump turned the party leaders into a cult of morons terrified of Trump publicly attacking them. Now they can’t even find a Speaker, much less find a candidate who isn't some kind of deranged freak.

With no Speaker being named wanna bet this gets dragged on until a shutdown occurs. By fuggering the naming of a Speaker to lead the house the GQP extremists will get their wish to shut down government.

This is why the Dems, with just enough Republican allies, will pick a speaker if necessary.

My fear is that these clowns will nominate Trump as a Hail Mary and which nitwit will vote against him? Imagine the damage and chaos he can cause by 'speakering' the House. A never ending Family Feud.

If Trump speaker the Dems have to walk out and stay out. Except for one to move absence of a quorum if any vote is attempted.

Of course, with Trump as Speaker the rules would be whatever he wanted them to be. He'd just refuse to recognize the quorum call.

Even this Rep Cult is not that stupid to willingly if able allow Trump anywhere close to the the Capital. All they are interested in is the donations and having him speak well of them.

Plus Trump is to lazy to take on a part time job....

They will all claim, al 217 of them that they nominated Trump and raise money. perhaps it will be the biggest one day haul of campaign donations. The MAGAts love to part with their money for Trump.

The Repugnants have a new hat in the ring from Austin Scott, seven term congressman from Georgia. And he is considered a moderate compared to Jordan, but he had this to say about Trump's indictment.

Its the other way around regarding an authoritarian state, but who is listening? Scot should feel at home if he is elected Speaker, yet another Trumper.
