can I make this into A mono block

Is it posible to Bridge this 2030 Board further in Parallel to get all 4 chips in mono channel, and if so How would I do it,short out one side of Input or just run speaker in parallel?they will be driving 8ohm Nova 8b speakers and the source will be via my computer sound card.the chips are BTL in 2x2 I want to get them to do Mono4x1,yes I am not very Knowledgeable ,But I make up in Listening.I thought I might get better replys here(PLEASE) oh yea I have 2 boards I want to do this with to get stereo.

Have the speakers fused if you try it.

Yea I think I am just going to have to proceed cautiously with failsafes in place.and - left side and + right side output right is usualy mono side, then short out the other pos and neg terminals or should I just leave them open, well I will try open first.

I linked my Nova 8b's and my BIC center channel LRC's in parllel today and boy talk about Heavon I am using a TDA7498 chip,it is unbelievable it is working @ 3.5 ohms and amp barely gets warm.I am really enjoying these Amps Everyone associates with Chinese Junk.Oh well I must be easily satisfied LOL,Or else...

1 amp ceramic microwave oven fuse in line with each speaker. Paralleling outputs of solid state amps can be tricky.

Without a schematic it is tough to say whether they are designed to be run in parallel. I looked at the device spec for the ST amplifier chip and it did not discuss load sharing properties, i.e. running in parallel.

It is a crap shoot. Try it and see what happens. The amplifier chips are less than a buck so the financial exposure is small if the smoke comes out. :D

yea that is how I look at it I will get it rigged up and test it on some trash seakers,But I like the idea of fuses in my speakers for protection I ordered some of the 1 amp ceramic fuses steve spoke of.
