Kellyanne: NO to Romney

Kellyanne Conway (one of the most capable in Trump's team) went public with the opposition to Romney as Secretary of State.

She said the grassroots are totally opposed.

So, which do you think this is, is Kellyanne is going off the reservation or is the campaign is trying to get Trump back in line?

I think bragging (and openly criticizing) about getting rid of a competent candidate for the State Department bodes very badly for the America and the Trump administration.

Just one of a long list of things about a Trump administration that bode ill for the country.

This was about throwing a bone to the establishment, then humiliating Romney for speaking earlier against Trump, and appeasing the base by said humiliation. A three-for, as it were. Conway and Gingrich didn't leave the reservation. They're willing stooges for Trump/Bannon. He's turned the whole transition into a reality TV and has referred to cabinet candidates as "finalists."

I suspect his cabinet and staff are going to be pretty fluid. I suspect that if you are not a yes man, you're fired. Even if you are and he gets a burr up his, you are fired. I have had a few bosses like this, he reminds me very much of them.

I hope Romney brought his kneepads when he went to kiss the ring.

Hey Finnbow, every time I read your signature line, I think
"A whole lot of fertilizer on top will kill the garden too."

There is an awful lot of fertilizer around here lately.

I don't see why Romney would want this high profile job, considering how volatile Trump can be, not to mention a multitude of conflict of interests from Trump's business relationships.

That's what I am counting on.

I sure don't want any establishment Republicans running the show.
