Sold my 1988 Buick
:( Great old car - only 140,000 on it - 3800 V6 the best motor Buick ever made. Just never drove it anymore; I never throw anything out. Smoothest ride of any car I have driven. Going to a good home to someone who will use it.
Silly to have sentimental attachment to a machine - but I miss it. |
We had a '95 Olds six banger (3300 engine) that was a joy to drive. Lot's of get up and go and a cush ride.
Long gone now. |
Agreed the 3800 V6 GM had all the stars aligned with that one.
I had 250K on mine when it went to a new owner. Still ran smooth and plenty of pep. Barney |
I had a Cutlass wagon with that engine in it. Passed it down to the kids. The entire car completely fell apart, the steering wheel finally came off, but it still ran.

In 1988 I fell in love with a used Oldsmobile 98 that had been offered in Lahr (Black Forest). Lahr back then was a location of the CAF and the first owner therefore was a Canadian soldier for sure.
Pity, the fuel consumption of that car was much too high... |
Sold my 2000 Chev Impala LS and kept Florence's Impala LS.
