According to a report on NPR last night, the scientists estimated that there are about trillions of red dwarfs (like our sun), significantly increasing the odds of other similar life forms.

Less than an hour to go. Finally, they are confirming live aliens in Area 51.
I'm enjoying this :) Did anyone poke around that site? The 20 most interesting planets are indeed interesting. Pete |

between you and me there is life in space and we are nothing more than the result of a seed from space
weather it was an amino acid or what I can't say but just like seeds take to the air they also take to space |

That number is getting close to Avogadro's number (6.02 x 1023) OK, it's only half, but what's a few hundred sextillion among friends. Sometimes, it's interesting (to me:o) to look for significance in numerical correlations, thinking it might show a balance in nature or reveal the meaning of life. But, I'm way off, and you have just wasted 15 seconds of your life reading a useless post. Sorry.
