Nothing beats a new puter chair

My old one took a shit. It was not cheap, ok it was not a steelcase but it was a sealy brand chair. The only thing sealy on that chair was the name. The rest was made in some sweat shop, lord knows where. OK so it lasted a year. Thats about the norm for me, if im lucky.

So off to Officedepot we go. Come home 200 bucks lighter and setup the chair. Used it for about a 2 days when I started noticing I was leaning to the right. Well the old chair leaned to the left so I thought OK maybe its me. Two more days go by and its really starting to bother me. I flipped it on its side and sure enough, the fucking up/down piston is leaning to the right. Its bent.

Crib notes, 300.00 chair on sale for 200, is a real piece of chinese made dog shit. It broke in 3 days

Can't some body make a fucking chair. Apparently not if you plan to buy it in a box store...

how much do you weigh? :D

i'm still using a $10 w'mart regular steel folding chair with a pillow duct-taped to the seat for comfort.
really need to get a real office type chair.

About 275, which is within the limits of the chair.

Mine is an old rockin' chair that I've had for about 8 years now. My fat ass has broken it twice now, but I just glue it back up and let it rock.:D

I weigh in at 250. But when I bought this chair---about 190.

If you weigh 275, & as big as you are, I'd say you need a chair rated for 350-400. Like EVERYTHING else nowadays, chairs are made on the "flimsy" side, & have virtually NO "Wollerance" factored in. You may have to go to a "local" office supply store-Not one of the "Big Box" outfits-or a "good" furniture store. The "good" stuff is still out there, but you have to dig for it, & it'll cost, too...

You would think for 200 bux it would have lasted longer than three days.

Might look for a place that sells used office supplies. We had a place that was selling used office furniture they got form the State. Had some damn nice chairs going for $20, you won't break one of these.

My current company was kind enough to get a fancy-ish chair for us all when we moved, high backed leather etc, but the most comfortable was the old chair at my last job.

It was an aluminum? base 4 wheel, green vinyl, you've seen them, I think they've been making them since the 40s. Solid, good support, I could probably jump up and down on one, but not very status conscience.

We had a used office supply place down the street till it burned down. Wonder if it moved.

All the "industrial" strengh chairs I looked at started at 600 bucks. And the damn things aint made for tall lard asses. Bet its gonna cost me 1500 to get something that fits me, and lasts.

Compare weights with us big boys and one might say that you're only half a man.:D I wouldn't mind being about two thirds of what I am now.
