Son of a bitch man, there's only about 4 groups I don't know o that line up, and they are ALL TOP DRAWER acts. We're talking suits ad ties, not t-shirts (it's a bluegrass thing I guess). I sure didn't know Joe Jackson had any Bluegrass Roots, but it's like the blues I guess, they're are there whether you now it or not. Where's it at Carl, maybe a little more notice too. :)

Yep, just been working on my old 85 pickup everyday and burning stumps. You can not in your wildest dreams guess how many light bulbs are on that truck. It has to be ~ 100 or more if you search them all out. Just in the dash panel there were probably a dozen for the fuel, speedo, and all the other gauges. They don't do a bulb for each gauge, this has got to be the first printed circuit, and they sort of indirect light everything. It's a pretty blueish white color. Then theirs a light for everything else, like the ashtray, one for each floorboard, glove-box, etc.. That's just a partial list of the inside stuff. The printed circuit wasn't too good, so I washed it with de-oxit, then gave it a coat of de-oxit gold. If you had to take this dash apart you'd understand that you want every advantage you can get.
Question of a technical nature; I'm working alone and don't have a big vise that would hold the master cylinder while I prime it. Can I mount it up and do the same thing with the hose in the reservoirs? What about getting the contaminated fluid out of the lines and wheel cylinders, and tricks for a one man crew. I guess I could let an apprentice suck up and wok the pedal for me, but I'm not really supposed to be doing this kinds shit. I'll tell ya what, I had kind of let the old gal go, but a couple weeks later and maybe a couple hundred bux later, and this is a fine vehicle. I wouldn't think twice about heading out to see Murray and c:eek:ould do it on one tank I bet. I got an 80 gallon tank and get 23 highway in x-heavy 3/4 ton pickup.

It's in Golden Gate Park, "Speedway Meadows" area in San Francisco the first weekend of October until the 25 year minimum trust fund runs out that Warren Hellman set up before he passed a couple years ago. So set your calendars. He has always paid for it, and every last detail of putting it on, out of his own pocket.
