Budget shotgun.
 

Looking for a <$300 shotgun.

I'd rather have used, even vintage than new.

Prefer 20 ga. For home defense and skeet.

Is it even possible to get a model 12 in this range? Any suggestions? I'm all ears.

Sixteen gauge an option? I have Browning Sweet Sixteen auto ultra light that is one fine machined shotgun. I haven't needed any ammo for it in awhile so that might be the only draw back. I was in a pawn shop and they were going cheap. Like around your price range.

Don't forget about Ithaca. They've made some nice shotguns.

This was last year and the pawn shop had three of them. I love mine and other then the availability of ammo. But other guns of mine seem to be having the same problem. I own two 16ga's and like the round. The other is a Stevens/ Savage 311 bolt action.

If your looking for skeet a Stoeger Condor O/U used can be sub 300 and is a nice "cheap" O/U to break those doubles. For HD not my favorite but Uncle Biden approved.

Get a 12 gauge for Christsake.

And spend a little more and get something decent, like a Mossberg 500.
