Lot's of that same cool stone work all over the National Forests around here too. Amazing what ol' Franklin accomplished with his WPA back then.
We use those wayward CCC kids out here to clear brush and for firefighting duties. An old friend was, ahem, volunteered by a local magistrate for a while in one of those too. ;)

The kids at Tennessee High School, Bristol, Tn., play football in a WPA Project. It is much beloved in the area.
