Dumb reporters !

Dumb asses should not have crossed the border !

i agree. they knew when they crossed the border that they were entering a country with a known ruthless dictator that hates america. they played with fire and got burnt. "bringing home the news" is a noble cause to be sure, but some risks are just not worth taking.

The N. Koreans ain't gonna keep 'em. They'll just try to score some quick political points, then the two nitwits will return home with hosannas from their adoring peers.

I thought Al Gore was going over there to negotiate on their behalf? Apparently, Jesse Jackson is tied up.

Wonder what would happen if The Gargoyle decided to just keep Algore ?!? But yeah, if you mess w/a Hornet's Nest, there's a pretty good chance you could end up getting stung...These gals just found that lesson out, maybe the hard way....

What say we trade them Al Gore for the two chicks? He could help them get their environment under control and all...

cabinover 06-09-2009 06:22 AM

And just like an electrical part bought at NAPA, NO RETURNS!! :D

That assumes they were across the border, given that the NK were looking for some bargaining chips I would not have put it past them to have grabbed them on the Chinese side.

Twodogs 06-09-2009 06:17 PM

I heard it reported that they were actually taken on the Chinese side, but who knows?

I remember back in the 80's, there was some anti Government/ IRS type that was running loose.

Anyway, a couple of Feds pulled him over, and he and his son jumped out and went to work on the Feds with a couple of Ruger mini 14's.

Anyway, this reporter stated that the "Ruger M14 was the same caliber that the military used, and if you shot someone in the hand, you would blow their whole arm off.

Having pulled a trigger or two, ain't no .223 gonna blow your arm off with a hit in the hand. I did shoot a snapping turtle from the deck of the Rockhouse Bridge (maybe 10 yds) straight down with a .45-70, 500gr
soft lead slug, max charge of 3031, in a modded Swiss T bolt. Pieces of that turtle were still raining down from the sky for 4-5 seconds. If anythings gonna pull your arm out by the roots with a hand shot, this weapon, with this load, is gonna be the one. But it still won't do it.

Damn reporters don't know shit form beans.

Never understood why the military dropped the .303 in favour of the current pea shooters. Oh I know, you wound the enemy and so it takes two of his buddies to carry him off the field. Yeah, if we were fighting a reasonably civilized enemy and not the effing savages in Iraq and Afghanistan.
