Do You Think You Understand Romney's Views
If so, you may be the only one, including Mitt himself.;)
"WHEN Mitt Romney was governor of liberal Massachusetts, he supported abortion, gun control, tackling climate change and a requirement that everyone should buy health insurance, backed up with generous subsidies for those who could not afford it. Now, as he prepares to fly to Tampa to accept the Republican Party’s nomination for president on August 30th, he opposes all those things. A year ago he favoured keeping income taxes at their current levels; now he wants to slash them for everybody, with the rate falling from 35% to 28% for the richest Americans. All politicians flip-flop from time to time; but Mr Romney could win an Olympic medal in it ..." http://www.economist.com/node/21560864 |

So last week Romney is hammering Obama about this 700 billion, now he has Ryan defending doing the same thing with"But Mommy, he did it first". :p

Ryan would take the money directly out of Medicare to fund the tax cuts for the rich. I am sick of these lying Republican bastards. What real politician hides behind his mommy's skirt when he lies about not hurting seniors in Florida. Ahhhh, he would not hurt mommy he must be good. We can't shout his lying ass down because mommy is their by his side protecting her precious. What a pussy. |

As someone who has Medicare I am amazed at the number of people who do not understand how it works. Even Judy Woodruff on the Newshour said "Medicare just pays whatever is charged".
Looking at a CMS summary of a bill from the opthalmologist; Billed $75, Medicare approved $67.84, Medicare paid $54.27 my other insurance picked up the balance of $13.57. An even better example that I can't find at the moment, was the speci@list who operated on Florece's finger and billed $10,000. Madicare laughed at him and allowed something like $550, insurance paid the rest. |
It is a bit difficult to understand Mittens policies because he refuses to give any specifics because the opposition may use it against him. Those were his own words.
They threw a reporter out of an event yesterday because someone on the morning show at the station said something bad about the very sensitive Mittens that hurt his whiddle feelings. The reporter was escorted out of the building by the police. Not Willard's security detail, the actual police that should have been out protecting the citizens of their city. Don't believe me, read it for yourself. http://www.politiscoop.com/us-politi...son-event.html Holding events in private facilities is a disturbing trend that the Republicans have started. When a campaign for the presidency of this country is in full swing there should be no restrictions on press coverage even if the event is held in a private facility. Asking a reporter to leave because of guilt by association of what was said earlier on the station you report for, and I hesitate to say this, is very similar to the brown shirt tactics used when Hitler was on the rise to power. You can't say bad thinks about Romney, if you do there will be retaliation. I can't believe the lame stream Libural media is not howling about this. Anybody who votes for a candidate that refuses to discuss what his policies are, and how they will help the people, will get exactly what they voted for. |
Romney is afraid of standing on any sort of principle....it took him 36 hours to denounce Akin...he had to test the pool before he jumped in lest he offend his Tea Party masters.
Romney is like the news bureau in Orwell's 1984...every day he changes the truth to fit the current Tea Party marching orders. |
