Snap Shots of YOUR Republican Party, 21st Century Style

I will post interesting tidbits I find about the New GOP, which, unlike the stuffy bankers and big defense spenders of the last century (which I sort of miss) is now embracing voter suppression, a war against women, and turning a sort of blind eye to umm...... a sort of nasty xenophobia/racism, for want of a better phrase. Not all GOP members on the last point, but some. Like the Gomerts of the party.

I will try to refrain from the term Tea Party, because it is becoming euphemistic in that extreme negative traits that have been traditionally ascribed to those crazies are now becoming the planks of the actual GOP.

maybe I will not be as good as Pete and his threads, and I promise not to steal too much from the Huffington Post
